Diapers. Yes. And yes. I work at a preschool where kids are supposed to be potty trained - and are not allowed to wear diapers. But if you are at a daycare - that calls itself a preschool - and enrolls infants and toddlers - then you will be changing diapers if necessary. Also - the PROPER way to change a diaper requires you to wear gloves AND wash your hands. I took a class for ECE (early childhood development) - and remember that changing a diaper involves about 15 or 20 steps. Gloves were absolutely required.

Depends on the preschool. Many preschools won't allow kids over a certain age who aren't potty trained, so if they're true preschools and not just daycare centers, there's a good chance that no they don't. If they have younger kids or allow non-potty trained kids, then teachers and aids will change diapers.

Of course they wear gloves. It's a biohazard.

Depends most don't because it takes up precious classroom time and they may not do it the way the parent likes, witch can give them a bad rating and not good for business. If they do I assume they wear gloves, if the pay are changing a lot of diapers

Most preschoolers are out of diapers, but keep in mind there are children with autism and things like that that will still be diapered. most dont wear gloves, just wash hands before and after.

If they are working with infants and toddlers, yes to both. In general, they wouldn't be allowed to touch a child over 3 years old.

It is part of diapering procedure to wear gloves, but it isn't a requirement as the gloves are for the protection of the adult, not the child.

I'm not sure about other states or regulations but in maryland and in the county I work in the children are required to be potty trained by the time they enter in the previous school. The child should be about 3 or 4 at this time so teachers shouldnt necisarrilly be force to change a diaper. I personally have not because it is not part of my job description. Thinking about it this way, if you have a class of 15 pre schoolers like myself, changing their diapers every time they have to go is just too much to put on a teacher, especially if the children are only there for a half schedule. I hope this helped somewhat.
